Ok yes i understand that some people are better off getting their GED's. But if you're just getting your GED cause you'd rather do that than go to high school thats different. If you are just dropping out cause you're bored of getting up at 6:30 in the morning, then dont. stick it out. cause getting up at 6:30 or earlier is part of life. Unless you work night shift of course. if you're droppping out cause school's to easy, talk to your teachers. it may be nerdy getting extra work or transfering to harder classes, but if you dont challenge yourself you'll never learn your limits.
Now if school's too hard for you, dropping out should be a last resort. Again talk with teachers, drop down a couple of levels. schools offer easier levels of their corses for reasons. But if none of that works then yes maybe you should drop out and get your GED.

I only post these because my mother recently told me of how she dropped out in 9th grade and got her GED. SHe told me how ashamed of herself she felt. cause she knew she could do it she knew she could graduate. but she didn't want to she just wanted to be done with school. I have been learning from my parents mistakes all my life. and this is a lesson i thought i'd share with the world.

So as we all know the time is comming, for some it's already here, the new schol year!!! And what does this mean to all of you reading this? it means that it's time to fire up your patience levels cause teens are sure to press them. They've become so used to the carefree lifestyle of summer that they forget what that summer's only 2 months long and that yes school will start again. They will fight it by skipping school and trying to drop out. DO NOT LET THEM!!!! yes they can get a GED but they'll miss out on the fun of a high school experience.
Of course that experience isnt always good. There are students that get bullied and harrased. Students who try hard but still fail. and students who want to behave but just cant. These students see High school as the worst thing ever. but what they dont know is these years prepare you for the real world
